Sarah ‘Sam’ Saltiel Joins Magpie Games as Director of Marketing and Sales

Magpie Games, a tabletop role-playing game publisher, have hired Sarah ‘Sam’ Saltiel as Director of Marketing and Sales.

Saltiel is a recent graduate from the University of Chicago, and previously worked for Magpie as an intern and game designer. Her ‘Powered by the Apocalypse’ game ‘Passing’ will debut at Gen Con this year. She has also worked as a freelance game designer for Pelgrane Press.

Saltiel will focus on conventions, distribution and marketing strategies for Magpie. She will be based in Albuquerque.

“As Magpie Games has grown over the last few years, we’ve been expanding our reach to new conventions, new sales channels, and new distributors,” Mark Diaz Truman, co-founder and CEO of Magpie Games.

Magpie was founded in early 2011 by Truman and Marissa Kelly, and since then has brought on Brendan Conway as a co-owner.
