Gen Con have removed the early exhibit hall access benefit from their Very Important Gamer (VIG) program website offerings for 2019. The benefit allowed VIGs to enter the exhibit hall an hour early for opening day on Thursday.

Gen Con did not respond to several attempts by Tabletop Wire to contact them for more information.

Gen Con is a hobby gaming convention founded in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin in 1968. The convention had more than 60,000 unique attendees in 2018. Gen Con will return to Indianapolis Aug. 1-4, 2019. Officials have an agreement to hold it here at least through 2021.
